Meltdown in Felixstowe the mix seen in the photo of Eric (last Article) was steamed on Friday morning  giving the mix 3 days of rest, I filled each red pudding basin just below the brim then fitted the red cap on, wrapped in muslin and tied with butchers string. Then steamed for 2 hours on opening the steamer I found all the red basins had buckled (as the photo shows) bits of Pudding mix had leaked and mixed in with the steaming water.... 2 hours and the water had only reduced by 50%, which I was pleased with.
