Rum'n'Raisin Bread Pudding The very first of its kind!
The very first of its kind welcome to my Rum 'n' Raisin Bread Pudding as the name suggests has alcoholic rum as one of its ingredients and you will distinctly be able to taste the rum as soon as you bite into this soft and delicious Pudding. I was not too sure how much of the overproof rum would be lost due to evaporation once in the oven. There is no guide for this first of its kind Rum based Bread Pudding, So to be sure I tipped the whole 700ml bottle into the mix combined with the wholemeal bread that I make just for my bread puddings and heaped with currents, sultanas and raisins WITHOUT the mixed spices I use in my Original Bread Pudding. You will find that the taste is exceptional and far beyond the cutting edge flavour I set out to achieve. The pudding is then topped with juice locked large Raisins and vacuum packed to lock in all flavours.
